Each Prize competition is tailored to allow competitors to get insight on their work from industry mentors. By competing, they are able to make the very connections that could change the trajectory of their life.

Our year-round programs of Film Prize, Food Prize, Music Prize, Fashion Prize, Comedy Prize, Startup Prize, and Taco Wars, all create environments where those seeking to take the next step in their journey can find mentorship and opportunity in our community.

Prize competitors have started companies, signed deals, opened retail businesses, and traveled the world — while spreading the message of what our community has done to take them to the next level. Some have even moved here!

Beyond the elevation of artists originating in or visiting the Shreveport and Northwest Louisiana area, we are also reaching back to young students through programs like Film Prize Junior, which serves middle and high school students across the State of Louisiana by giving them the tools to tell amazing and personal stories through film.
