Niko Kochalidze is a Georgian filmmaker exploring cultural identity, politics, and philosophy using film as a tool to affect collective consciousness. He was immersed in art from an early age, inspired by his father’s paintings. He earned a double major in Journalism and Mass Communications and Film, Theater, and Visual Arts from the American University in Bulgaria. After working as a film editor at Circuit Films, he began pursuing his M.F.A. in Film Production at the LSUNO. His filmography includes Übermensch in Blue Jeans (2024), 17/71 (2024), M0DERNISM (2024), Bleached Red (2025), Democracy Manifest (2026), Odds of Survival (2026).
