Director's Statement

The Doom Lift is a ridiculous concept. What kind of person deliberately builds the world’s slowest, most boring execution out of a ski lift in order to feed a sloppy orange monster at the top of a mountain? A sycophant. A fascist. While inevitably silly, “Doom Lift” is born from a very specific, very angry point of view. When one sees the would be “heroes” of governance flounder to reign in blindly obedient footsoldiers, one cannot help but compare them to a screaming puppet, incapable of an- an- an— end transmission —

All aboard the Doom Lift! See the beautiful mountain sights! Sniff the beautiful mountain air! Survive the beautiful mountain terrain! If you dare! The Doom Lift ride takes exactly 8 minutes and 39 seconds from snowbank to mountaintop and you’ll enjoy every second! Zero fear! All fun! Climb aboard and worship the monster at the mountaintop! The monster! The monster! All hail the monster! Always was and always will be! DOOM LIFT FOREVER!!!
