April Yanko is a writer, actor, and cat lady. Her short Butt Stuff debuted at Dances with Films at the TCL Chinese Theatre. Most recently, she screened her short at the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner via the 48HFP’s curated selection from the worldwide Yes We Cannes competition. Her debut film, This is a garden was noted for its ‘authentic and sincere LGBTQ+ storytelling.’ Her work tends to live somewhere between heartfelt and super-effing weird.
