This is my best storytelling yet. I’m very happy with how this film came out. We dialed back and went with a very muted palate to bring out the characters and narrative and I believe it helps create great tension that only releases with the last breath. Grace Gibson gives a masterful performance reminiscent of her mother Lynn Whitfield in “A Thin Line Between Love and Hate” and beloved actor Michael C. Forest delivers his best performance yet in his swan song as he suddenly passed away just a week after production ended.
