Welcome to Music Prize — an indie music festival in Shreveport, Louisiana! At Music Prize, you will see eleven music acts across two nights. The musicians are competing to win the $10,000 cash grand prize and other accolades. The best part — you will help select one of the winners. See at least three music acts to vote.

What is MUSIC PRIZE?

Over 1,000 musicians from all over the country submitted for consideration for Music Prize. This year, 11 musicians will compete in the finals to win the $10,000 cash grand prize and other prizes. Past Music Prize winners have gone on to win Grammys, NPR’s Tiny Desk, open for major musicians, and be signed by recording labels.

Here’s how you can participate:

Music Prize 2025 - BEG_001-15

11 indie musicians will play live across two nights at Music Prize.

On Friday and Saturday night of Prize Fest, October 16-17th, eleven musicians will be competing for their place in Music Prize history. Mentor judges will be watching their performances along side you, the audience. Together, you will award $14,000 in cash prizes and a path forward in their music career.

Voting at Music Prize 2021

Watch at least three musicians in order to cast your vote.

You will help select the Audience Choice winner. Watch at least three musicians throughout Music Prize. Once you have collected at least three punches on your Music Prize badge, head to the voting booth to receive your voting chip.
